These past two weeks… have been absolutely amazing!
Let me start with the place: Holywood is a charming little town, and living here has made me feel relaxed and in harmony with nature, which emerges from every single corner. Everyone here is so welcoming and kind, always with a large smile on their face. The host family was even better than my expectations; each person is truly special and warm-hearted. Caroline and Ondrej, always flexible and thoughtful, made me feel completely at home, while pretty Grace and little Talia, so lively and cheerful, always made my days so much brighter. A special mention goes to Pippa who made me feel so loved.
We talked a lot and shared so much of our lives; it makes me so sad to think that I will have to leave them in just two short days.
And what about the school? Well, there are simply not enough words to describe how exceptional and beautiful it is! The teachers are kind, inspiring and creative: I did so many fun activities and had such a brilliant experience thanks to them. Every day was full of new challenges and exciting discoveries; because of this, these two weeks have flown away so fast that I haven’t even realized it yet. I am really grateful to all the people who made all this happen, and I truly look forward to coming back next summer!
